Staycation

Plans for a vacation this summer fell through with flying colors on so many different attempts (planning with a baby was much harder than originally anticipated), so we decided a staycation was going to be our best bet!

We are so grateful that my parents live around the corner and love to babysit for little O. The one thing I had asked for on our staycation was some pool time. So we started off the right way, dropping Olive off and heading out! We spent the day of our anniversary doing all of our favorite things, going to the pool, shopping at whole foods and eating out at a new restaurant together, it was lovely. Bryant spent some of his mornings watching movies while Olive slept and I went to the pool (I’m a fish). We shopped, sat outside to watch the sunset, enjoyed coffee, hung out with friends and made waffles. A successful vacation, indeed and we are feeling refreshed and ready to work!
